다웰 앨버타의 위치

Darwell은 Lac Ste에 있는 알버타 중심부에 있는 비법인 공동체다. 앤 [1]군16번 고속도로에서 북쪽으로 10km(6.2mi), 에드먼턴 북서쪽으로 74km(46mi) 떨어져 있다.다웰은 라크 스테 앤에서 재스퍼까지 이어지는 옛 옐로헤드 트레일 모피 무역로에 위치해 있다.북부 알버타 철도는 다웰을 통해 건설되었고,[2] 대략 옐로헤드 트레일을 따라갔다.1912년에 철도역이 개통되었다.선로가 철거되자 철도 등급은 도로가 되었고, 지금은 633번 고속도로가 되었다.

킨셀라, 윌리엄 패트릭 (WP) - (1935년 5월 25일 - 2016년 9월 16일) - (캐나다 작가/작가)는 10세까지 다웰 근처의 농장에서 살았다.[5]
