유럽분자생물기구(EMBO) 회원상은 유럽분자생물기구(EMBO)가 '연구 우수성과 생명과학자가 이룬 탁월한 성과'를 인정받아 수여하는 상이다.[1]

신규회원 선정 및 선출

회원 선거는 매년[5] 회원 후보가 기존 EMBO 회원들에 의해 독점적으로 지명되고 선출되는 방식으로 진행되며,[6][7] 회원 가입은 직접 신청할 수 없다.[8][9][10][11] 다음과 같은 세 가지 유형의 멤버십이 존재한다.

  1. EMBO 회원, 유럽 분자생물학회의(EMBC) 회원국에[12] 살고 있거나 살아본 과학자를 위한 회원
  2. EMBO Associative Membo Associative Membo, EMBC 회원국[12] 이외의 지역에 거주하는 과학자를 위한 회원
  3. EMBO 젊은 수사관[13]
