Phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate-induced protein 1포르볼-12-마이리스테이트-13-아세테이트유도단백질1은 PMAIP1유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 코드되는 단백질로 [3][4][5]노사라고도 한다.
녹사(라틴어로 손상을 의미)는 Bcl-2 단백질군의 [6]친아포토시스 구성원이다.BCL-2 패밀리는 헤테로 또는 호모디머를 형성할 수 있으며, 다양한 세포 활동에 관여하는 항아포토시스 조절제 또는 항아포토시스 조절제 역할을 한다.Noxa의 발현은 종양억제제 p53에 의해 조절되며 Noxa는 p53 매개 아포토시스에 관여하는 것으로 나타났다.
