'Started from the Bottom'은 캐나다 힙합 레코딩 아티스트 드레이크가 자신의 세 번째 스튜디오 앨범 'Nothing Was the Same'의 첫 번째 싱글로 발표한 곡이다.[3] 이 곡은 드레이크, 마이클 콜먼, 노아 '40' 셰비브가 작사했으며, 콜먼이 그의 예명 마이크 좀비(Mike Mobby)로 프로듀싱을 맡았으며, 셰비브가 추가 프로듀싱을 맡았다.[4][5] 브루노 산필리포의 주변 곡 'Ambessence Piano & Drone 1'의 샘플이 특징이다.[6] "밑바닥에서 시작"은 빌보드 핫 100에서 6위로 정점을 찍었다.

배경

'밑바닥에서 시작'은 원래 그래미 어워드와 맞물려 2013년 2월 10일 개봉될 예정이었다.[7] 그러나 드레이크의 '10월 초순' 블로그를 통해 사전 인터뷰 없이 공개하는 것을 선호해 2월 1일 초연됐다.[8] 이 곡은 2013년 2월 6일 아이튠즈에서 정식 발매되었다.[9] 제55회 그래미 시상식에서 드레이크는 공식 리믹스가 발매될 것이라고 놀렸다.[10]

음악 및 가사
