T.50(표준)
T.50 (standard)ITU-T 권고안 T.50은 국제 참조 알파벳(IRA), 이전에는 국제 알파벳 번호 5(IA5)로 문자 부호화를 명시한다. ASCII는 그 문자 집합의 미국 변형이다.
1988년 11월의 원본은 ISO 646에 해당한다. 현재 버전은 1992년 9월이다.
역사
초기에는 5비트 코드인 국제 텔레그래프 알파벳 2번(ITA2)이 있었다. IA5는 7비트 바이트를 기반으로 한 개선이다.

사용하다
이 표준은 RFC 3966과 같은 다른 표준에서 참조한다. 시스코 모뎀과 같은 일부 아날로그 모뎀에서도 사용된다.[4]
