리강 읍사무소

리강 타운쉽(중국어: 里港鄉; pinyin: Lǐgung Xiang; Wade–Giles: Li-gang³³ Hsiang¹)은 대만 핑둥 현에 있는 시골 읍이다.^[1] 이 지역은 시장 도시인 A리캉(A리캉)이 있는 곳이다.^[2]

역사

스코틀랜드 장로교 선교사 윌리엄 캠벨은 1870년대 중반에 阿港(A-li-gang)을 방문했다.^[3]

Whilst listening to him, one could not but feel the importance of having an educated native ministry in every part of China. Men like Pastor lap are able to adapt themselves in a way the missionary can never do, and to overcome difficulties which must always hamper any mere sojourner in the country. The afternoon meeting took the form of a Communion service, presided over by Mr. Ritchie. Between fifty and sixty adult members were present and partook of the sacred symbols. I had little effort in following the greater part of Mr. Ritchie's most suitable address ; and, altogether, the occasion was one to be remembered, a time when the presence of the Beloved Himself imparted new strength and melted the soul into gratitude and joy unspeakable.
