운영

역사

홈스토어

스튜어트 울프는 1996년에 온라인 부동산 회사인 홈스토어를 설립했다.[16][17] 그는 전국부동산협회와 제휴를 맺었고, 그의 회사인 RealSelect Inc.는 Realtor.com를 운영했다. 이 협약에 따라 전국부동산협회(National Association of Realtors)는 RealSelect에 작은 지분을 갖고 있었다.[17]

Realtor.com의 마케팅 전략의 일환으로 2016년 인수한 인테리어 및 라이프스타일 웹사이트 리모델리스타와 아웃도어 공간 및 가든 디자인 웹사이트 가디스타를 이전한다. 구매 당시 두 사이트는 월간 독자 150만 명을 대표했다.[39] 2019년 6월 이 회사는 설립자 줄리 칼슨과 남편 조쉬 그로브스에게 웹사이트를 되팔았고 현재는 리모델리스타 LLC가 독자적으로 운영하고 있다.[40]

무브 사는 2018년 텍사스주 오스틴에 본사를 둔 부동산 기술기업 오피시티를 2억1000만 달러에 인수했다. 인공지능(AI)과 머신러닝(기계학습)을 활용한 플랫폼을 개발해 잠재적 주택 구매자와 대리점을 매칭한 이 회사는 처음에는 독립사업으로 계속[42][43] 운영하다가 이후 Realtor.com으로 통합됐다.[41][44]
