레트로나티아(Retrognathia)는 부정교합의 일종으로, 얼굴 골격과 연조직에 비해 맥실라나[1] 하악골, [2]특히 하악골의 비정상적인 후방 위치를 가리킨다.[3]
이 용어는 의학적으로 사용되지 않지만, 역행성 하악성을 일반적으로 과대평가라고 한다.
