STLE(Society of Tribology and Lubrication Engineers)는 전 세계 Tribology 및 Lubrication Engineering 분야를 위한 미국의 비영리 기술 사회다.[1]사무실은 일리노이주 파크리지에 있다.[2]

1944년 미국 윤활공학회(ASLE)로 설립된 STLE는 현재 세계 최대 규모의 윤활학 협회 중 하나로, 오로지 트리뷰티 분야의 발전을 위해 헌신하고 있다.[3]STLE는 현재 13,000명 이상의 회원을 가지고 있다.[4]

STLE 공식 저널인 Tribology Transactions는 Taylor와 Francis가[5] 발행하고 있으며, Springer가 발행하는 Tribology Letters에도 협회가 소속되어 있다.[6]STLE는 또한 월간지 Tribology and Lubrication Technology를 발행한다.[7]
