53 Psciium은 53 Psc로 약칭되며, 12궁도의 물고기자리에 있는 별이다.겉보기 크기가 약 5.9로 육안으로는 거의 보이지 않는다.[2]히파르코스 우주선에 의한 시차 측정은 별을 약 1,040광년(320파섹) 떨어진 거리에 위치시킨다.[1]
53 Piscium의 스펙트럼 타입은 B2.5이다.IV, B형성체라는 뜻이야태양보다 5.4배 더 크고, 광도는 800에 육박한다.L그것의 표면 온도는 B형 별의 전형적인 17,000 K 이상이다☉.
53 피시슘은 베타 세페이 변수로서, 매 2시간마다 0.01의 크기만큼 변화한다.[2]그러한 이유로 그것은 AG Piscium으로 주어졌다.또한 슬로우 펄싱 B 별과 약간의 공통점이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.[7]
