건축교육자

Architectural educator

건축 교육자는 예비 전문 건축가와 건축 기술자를 양성하는 사람이다. 여기에는 건축 설계의 분야 또는 더 구체적으로는 건설된 환경의 설계에 대한 훈련이 포함된다.

건축교육은 공공건축교육과 전문건축교육 이해관계자 집단을 둘 다 두고 있다.[1]

건축 교육자들은 건축업이나 더 넓은 지역사회에서 일할 수 있다. 많은 나라의 건축교육은 인증이나 인가에 의해 규제된다.[2][3] 더 넓은 공동체에서, 건축 교육자들은 그들의 지식을 이용하여 시민이나 공동체의 구성원들이 각각의 환경에 대한 인식과 소유권과 관리자로서의 역할을 증진시킬 수 있다.

건축 교육자는 미국의 ACSA, 오스트레일리아와 뉴질랜드의 ACA,[4] 유럽의 EAAE와 같은 국가 및 지역 협회로 대표된다.[5]

건축교육의 역사

건축은 인도의 건축가 아누파마 쿤두의 작품처럼 전통적으로 프랭크 로이드 라이트나 르 코르뷔지에와 같은 건축가들에 의해 실천된 교육 도구로 이용된 역사가 있다.

건축은 서양 역사에서 마르쿠스 비트루비우스 폴리오(Rome c. 40 BC)에 의해 문화적으로 "더 높은 질서"[6]로 정의되었다. 《De Architectura》(On Architectura, Ten Books)의 저서에서 비트루비우스는 서양의 문예 건축 교육도 공식화하였다. 다른 문화권들 또한 청각적이고 촉각적인 비문학적 건축 교육 전통을 가지고 있다.[7] 사물의 질서와 배치에 대한 현대 교육은 특별한 인간 환경에서 사람과 사물의 배열의 생태학적 의의에 대한 시민들의 이해를 발전시키는 것으로서 헤르메뉴틱으로 간주되어 왔다.[8]
