디자인 학사

디자인 학사(B)데스나 B.설계) 학위는 일반적으로 3, 4년간 지속되는 과정이나 전공에 대해 수여되는 디자인 분야의 학부 학위다. 디자인 석사, MDES에 해당하는 학부다. 디자인 학사 학위는 캐나다와 호주에서 수십 년간 인기를 끌었으며, 분야별 디자인 교육이 확대되고 전문화되면서 미국에서 점점 더 인기를 끌고 있다. 디자인 학사 학위에는 디자인학[1] 학사, 디자인학 학사 등 여러 변종이 있다.[2]

- 디자인 학사: 건축.[3] 이것은 건축학과 학생들이 건축학과에 진학할 수 있도록 준비시키는 건축학과에 중점을 둔 학부과정이다. 그러나 국가건축등록위원회(NCARB)는 건축학사 또는 건축학 석사학위처럼 전문적인 건축학 학위로 인정받지 못하고 있다.[4]
