블레이크 테넌트는 1760년과 1772년 사이에 애슐리 [3][4]강의 뉴잉턴 농장에서 온 농장주 다니엘 [2]블레이크에 의해 지어졌다.그 건물은 [1]1970년에 국가 사적 등록에 지정되었다.이 [5]건물은 1969년 인근 군청사 별관으로 사용하기 위해 개조되었다.

아키텍처

2층짜리 아파트는 높은 벽돌 지하에 3층 반의 벽돌이다.벽돌 세공은 정면에는 플랑드르 본드로 되어 있고 측면에는 영국 본드로 되어 있다.이 건물은 1967년 찰스턴 카운티에 인수되어 카운티 청사로 사용되었다.

블레이크 테넌트는 1788 플레이트로 상영되었다.

이 건물은 건축가의 증조부인 조셉 블레이크 주지사에게 1698년 허가된 찰스턴시의 원래 계획 중 313번지에 위치해 있다.현재는 6&8 코트하우스 스퀘어로 알려져 있습니다.

허리케인 휴고 이후 이 건물은 폐쇄되었고 나중에 역사적인 찰스턴 카운티 법원 [6]옆 건물과 함께 복원되었다.
