칼리포디다는 130여 종을 포함하는 밀리피드의 주문으로, 많은 종은 볏이나 능선으로 특징지어진다.
설명
칼리포디다는 길이가 100밀리미터(3.9인치)에 이르며 몸통 부분은 40-60개로 길고 좁다.등줄 홈이 몸의 중간선을 따라 이어져 있고, 많은 종들이 세로 볏이나 능선으로 장식되어 있다.[1][2]성적으로 성숙한 수컷은 7번째 신체 부위의 앞다리 쌍을 변형한 것으로 구성된 단일 쌍의 고노포드를 가지고 있으며, 주머니 안에 숨겨져 있다.[2][3]
분배
칼리포디다는 북미, 유럽, 서아시아, 중국 남부, 동남아시아에서 발생한다.[4]
분류
살아있는 (연장) 칼리포디다는 3개의 하위질서와 7개의 가족, 그리고 약 130종의 종으로 분류된다.[5]하위순서인 시노칼리포다이데아를 구성하는 시노칼리푸스속은 가장 원시적인 것으로 생각되며, 다른 모든 칼리포단에게는 자매집단이다.[6]버마황색에서 발견된 9900만년 된 표본인 버마노페탈룸을 수용하기 위해 네 번째 멸종된 하위질서가 2019년에 설명되었다.[7]
