중앙 도서관은 현재 벡슬리히스의 [1]타운리 로드에 위치한 벡슬리 구를 위한 주요 도서관입니다.또한 자치구의 지역 연구 및 아카이브 [2]센터도 있습니다.
최초의 벡슬리히스 중앙 도서관은 1934년에 문을 열었고, 벡슬리히스 브로드웨이에서 "목조 오두막"으로 알려져 지금은 칵테일 [3]바가 되었다.
현재 도서관이 들어서 있는 건물은 1980년에[4] 처음 문을 열었고 [5]1989년에 개발이 마무리되었다.그 이후로 더 많은 재개발과 개조가 이루어졌는데, 가장 최근의 것은 2005년에 도서관이 새로운 입구를 [6]건설한 것이다.
