2월

2월 22일, 준드 알 아크사는 자불 호수의 남서쪽에 있는 라스미 알 나팔 마을을 점령하여 5개월 만에 두 번째로 이트리아-카나세르 고속도로를 다시 끊었다.곧이어 시리아군은 알 사피라 마을에서 마을에 증원군을 배치해 이를 탈환하고 핵심 보급로를 다시 열었다.[1][2]다음 날까지 ISIL은 또한 자불 호수 남쪽 해안과 라스무알 나팔 남쪽에 있는 여러 마을을 점령하여 알레포 도로를 더 많이 봉쇄했다.비록 시리아군이 고속도로의 여러 지점을 탈환하는 데 성공했지만, 그들은 여전히 자신들이 점령한 대부분의 마을에서 시리아 반군과 ISIL군을 쫓아내지 못하고 있었다.[3]ISIL군은 또한 셰이크 힐랄-이트리야 도로의 한 지점을 포착해 고속도로도 폐쇄했다.[4]이후 2월 23일 ISIL이 전략도시 자바세르를 점령해 이트리아-카나세르 고속도로를 따라 더욱 진격했다는 소식이 전해졌다.[5]

6월 25일 시리아군과 연합군은 오랫동안 기다려온 북서부 알레포 공세에 돌입했다.[10]공격의 궁극적인 목표는 도시 내 반군의 마지막 보급로인 카스텔로 고속도로를 끊어서 남은 반대 세력을 완전히 포위하는 것이었다.[11]

시리아군은 7월 7일 알누스라 전선 등으로부터 남부 말라 농장을 포획한 뒤 마지막 반란군 보급로인 동부 알레포까지 1km 이내로 진격하면서 카스텔로 고속도로에 대한 화재 통제를 실시했다.[12]

7월 11일 자바트 알누스라는 알모루르 건물(파출소) 인근 건물 10채를 포획해 알레포시 내에서 공세를 펼쳤으나 이 공세는 격퇴되고 SAA는 모든 유실 건물에 대한 통제를 재개했다.[13]

7월 17일 시리아군은 카스텔로 고속도로에 도달하여 점령하면서 반군이 장악하고 있는 동부 알레포의 봉쇄를 강화했다.[14][15]

7월 27일, 육군은 알레포로 들어가는 모든 반란군 보급로를 차단했다고 공식 선언했다.[16]

바샤르 아사드 시리아 대통령은 포위작전에 이어 앞으로 3개월 안에 정부 당국에 항복하는 무장단체에 대해 일반 사면을 제의했다.한편 세르게이 쇼이구 러시아 국방장관은 푸틴 대통령이 알레포 외곽에서 대규모 인도주의적 작전을 지시해 테러범들에게 인질로 잡힌 민간인은 물론 무기를 내려놓으려는 전투기까지 지원하라고 지시했다고 밝혔다.쇼이구는 또한 3개의 인도주의적 회랑과 음식과 응급처치 지점이 시 외곽에서 제공될 것이라고 언급했다.[17]반군은 소수 주민만이 포위된 반대파가 장악하고 있는 지역을 떠날 수 있는 등 인도주의적인 복도를 통해 주민들의 도피를 막았다.[18][19]친야권 소식통은 인도주의적 교차로에서 두 명의 젊은이가 횡단하는 과정에서 육군 저격수들에 의해 총격을 받았다고 주장했다.[20][21]

9월 22일, 알레포 5개 구에 대한 공습이 실시되었다.[22][23]다음날이 되자 계속되는 공습으로 동네 전체가 화염에 휩싸였다.[24]한편 육군은 도시의 북쪽과 남쪽으로 진격했다.[25][26]

9월 24일 공습을 계속하는 한편,[27] 군대는 한다랏 캠프 지구와 알레포 요새 근처로 진격했다.[28]하루가 끝날 무렵 정부군은 하라랏 수용소에서 철수했다.[29]9월 25일, 정부군은 샤허 지역을 확보했고, 하다랏 수용소에 대한 새로운 공격에 나섰다.[30]

9월 27일, 두 개의 병원을 공습했고,[31] 육군은 파라피라 지역을 점령했다.[32]

9월 28일 올드 알레포의 알 수웨이카 지역에 정부군이 진격했다.[33]

9월 29일 육군은 만다라트 야영지구를[34] 장악하고 이후 반란군 기지로 만들어진 킨디 병원과 인근 샤카이프 지역을 공격했다.[35][36]

9월 30일, 정부군은 킨디 병원을 점령했고,[37] 중앙 술레이만 알-할라비 지구에서는 "뒤로" 전투가 벌어졌다.[37]
