CWL(Common Workflow Language)은 계산 데이터 분석 워크플로우를 설명하기 위한 표준입니다[1].CWL의 개발은 생물정보학,[2] 의료영상학, 천문학, 물리학, 화학과 같은 데이터 집약적인 과학에 특히 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.CWL의 주요 목표는 이식 가능한 워크플로우를 만들 수 있도록 하는 것입니다.따라서 다른 계산 [3]환경에서 재현적으로 실행할 수 있습니다.
CWL은 2014년 Peter Amstutz, John Chilton, Nebojsha Tijanic 및 Michael R 사이의 논의에서 비롯되었습니다. 크루소(당시 소속사는 갤럭시, 아베이도스, 세븐브릿지, 미시간 주립대)는 BOSC 2014 코드페스트에서 개최되었습니다.
