커넥티퍼는 채용담당자와 채용담당자가 인재를 찾을 수 있도록 머신러닝(machine learning) 기반의 검색·매칭 기술을 개발한 미국 기업이다.[1][2] 이 회사는 2016년 2월 링크드인에 인수돼 2020년 4월까지 완전소유 자회사로 운영됐다.[3][4] 이 회사는 인수 당시 약 50명의 직원을 두고 있었으며 구글, 아마존, 스탠퍼드, 마이크로소프트 리서치, NASA, 칼텍, 카네기멜론, 버클리 국립연구소 등 유명 기관에서 AI 인재 벤치를 끌어냈다.[5]

역사

Connectifier는 John Jersin과 Benjamin McCann에 의해 2011년에 설립되었다.[6][7]

인수 당시 커넥티퍼는 3차례에 걸쳐 총 1200만 달러를 모금한 바 있다.[8] 이 회사는 2015년 6월 16일 600만 달러의 시리즈 A 금융을 확보했다고 발표했다.[9][10] 2015년 10월 시리즈B금융으로 600만 달러를 추가로 조달했다.[1][11]

2015년까지 연 487%의 성장률을 기록하며 출시 18개월 만에 연매출 1000만 달러 돌파를 달성한 것으로 알려졌다.[12] 2016년까지 커넥티퍼의 고객은 포춘지 선정 100대 기업의 40% 이상을 포함했다.[13]

LinkedIn은 2016년 2월 4일에 회사 인수를 위한 최종 계약을 체결했다고 발표했다.[14]

커넥티파이터의 기술과 기능이 LinkedIn 채용업체와 마이크로소프트 빙에 통합되어 2020년 4월 30일 독립형 오퍼링으로 제품이 일몰되었다.[15][16]
