쿡 평야는 오스트레일리아 남부에 있는 정착지다.[2]태일름 벤드와 쿠만두크 사이의 중간쯤 되는 애들레이드-멜번 철도의 두키스 고속도로와 인접해 있지만, 기차는 더 이상 그곳에 정차하지 않는다.그 마을에는 여러 개의 사업장과 군인 기념관(석조공사에 소유권이 있는 "쿠크의 평원"이 있다)이 있다.[3]
쿡 평원 읍은 원래 개인 구역으로 목회자 제임스와 아치 쿡의 이름을 따서 명명되었다.[4]쿡 플레인즈 경계에는 현재 1871년 8월 조사되어 1960년 4월 28일 존재하지 않는다고 선언된 옛 정부 도시 베드포드도 포함되어 있다.[5]
