크립토포러스(Cryptoporus)는 폴리포루스과에 속하는 균류이다.원래 1880년 [1]찰스 호튼 펙에 의해 폴리포러스의 한 구역으로 기술된 코넬리우스 로트 시어는 [2]1902년 폴리포러스를 별개의 속으로 만들었다.크립토포루스는 동남아시아와 북미에서 각각 발견되는 C. sinensis와 C. volvatus 두 종을 포함하고 있다.[3]C. sinensis는 더 작은 포자를 제외하고 형태학적으로 C. volvatus와 구별할 수 없다(10~12.5~5μm에 [4]비해 4~5μm).The generic name combines the Ancient Greek words κρυπτός ("hidden") and πόρος ("pore").[5]
