엘 폴로 로코(스페인어로 "크레이지 치킨(The Crazy Chicken)"이라는 뜻)는 멕시코 스타일의 구운 치킨을 전문으로 하는 두 개의 독립적인 레스토랑 체인의 이름입니다. 둘 다 후안 프란시스코 오초아에 의해 설립되었습니다. 그는 1974년 멕시코 시날로아 주 과사브에 최초의 엘 폴로 로꼬 레스토랑을 설립했습니다.[1][2][3] 그 후 오초아는 1980년에 미국으로 체인을 확장했습니다.[4][5] 그는 이후 1983년에 멕시코에 미국 식당을 유지하면서 미국 식당을 팔았습니다.[6] 두 회사는 그 이후로 중복되지 않는 글로벌 영토를 점유하고 있으며 서로 다른 요금을 제시했습니다.
