폰 샤프(Fawn Sharp, 1970년 5월 20일 출생)는 미국 원주민 정치인, 변호사, 정책 옹호자로 현재 미국 인디언 전국회의 의장을 맡고 있다.[1]샤프는 이 자격으로 근무하기 전에 퀴노트 인디언 국가 총재를 지냈고, 노스웨스트 인디언 부속 부족의 총재를 지냈으며, 미국 인디언 총회의 부의장을 역임했다.코벨 대 살라자르 사건 결정에 따라 샤프는 내무부로부터 인도신탁행정개혁위원회[2][3] 위원장으로 임명되었다.

샤프는 워싱턴 세수부의 행정법률 판사, 워싱턴 주 변호사 협회 주지사, 게리 로크 주지사가 그레이스 하버 칼리지에 임명한 신탁관리자 중 한 명 등 다양한 정부역량을 담당해 왔다.

샤프는 워싱턴 애버딘에서 태어났다.[4]샤프는 1990년 곤자가 대학을 19세로 졸업했으며,[5][6] 1995년 워싱턴 법대 졸업생이다.[7]로스쿨에 이어 샤프는 이후 옥스퍼드대와 네바다대에서 자격증을 취득했다.[8]

경력

반대파들은 2015년 11월 퀴노트 관계자 여러 명을 소환하려 해 네이션스 부사장이 해임됐지만 샤프는 입장을 지켰다.[9][10]그녀는 2015년 3월 퀴노트 대통령으로 4선에 선출되었다.[11][12][13]퀴노트 네이션은 세 번째 임기인 2013년에 카누 여행을 주최했다.

외교대표

샤프는 2021년 유엔기후변화협약 당사국총회(COP26)에서 미국 국무부가 처음으로 부족 지도자로서 외교 자격증을 발급한 인물이다.[14]
