게르버/하트 도서관 및 자료실(또는 "The Henry Gerber-Pearl M") 하트 라이브러리:1981년 설립된 '중서부의 레즈비언&게이자원센터'는 미국 중서부에서 가장 큰 규모의 게이와 레즈비언 타이틀을 유통하는 도서관이다.[1]시카고의 로저스 파크 인근에 위치해 있으며, 14,000권이 넘는 책과 800여 권의 정기 간행물 제목, 100여 권의 아카이브 컬렉션을 소장하고 있다.게버/하트 도서관 및 자료실은 1996년 시카고 게이와 레즈비언 명예의 전당에 헌액되었다.[2]
이 도서관은 개인 비영리단체지만 1999년 2만5000달러의 보조금을 포함해 일리노이주 '미래를 위한 기금'으로부터 지속적으로 운영돼 납세자 기금을 받아왔다.[3]
