하워드 차코비츠(Howard Chackowicz, 1969년 퀘벡주[2] 라발 출생)는 몬트리올에 본사를 둔 캐나다 출신 예술가 겸 음악가다.샤코비치는 자신의 작품을 국제적으로 전시하는 것 외에도 사이디예 브론프만 예술센터에서 일러스트를 가르쳤고 현재 드로잉 & 쿼터리를 위한 코믹스 및 카툰 워크숍을 운영하고 있다.[3][4]2000년에 차코위츠는 몬트리올 미러에 의해 올해의 5대 지역 만화가 중 한 명으로 선정되었다.[5]

Chakowicz는 몬트리올에 본사를 둔 두 장수 밴드를 위해 드럼을 연주한다.American Devices (1980)[9]와 Nutsak (1996년)[10]차코비치는 2009년 샘 샬라비 프로젝트 '랜드 오브 쿠시'의 데뷔작인 '어반 더 데이'에 기여했다.[11]

2001년 차코위츠는 프랑수아 미론 실험 영화 '힘의 해결'에서,[12] 몬트리올 영화제작자 존 터커의 '스무팅 엔젤'에서 배역을 맡았다.[13]

차코위츠는 2004년부터 2015년까지 CBC 라디오 원(Radio One)의 코미디 프로그램인 와이어탭의[14] 단골 출연자였다.그의 성격은 한 남자의 몸에 밴 아이로, 조나단에게는 결코 좋게 끝나지 않는 다양한 계획과 계략을 가진 진행자 조나단 골드스타인의 도움이 자주 필요했다.그는 라디오 쇼에서 제작한 몇 개의 인터넷 비디오 반바지에 출연했었다.[15]
