INPADOC

국제특허문서화를 뜻하는 INPADOC는 국제특허집이다.[1][notes 1]이 데이터베이스는 유럽특허청(EPO)에 의해 생산되고 유지된다.특허 패밀리와 법적 현황 정보를 담고 있으며, 매주 업데이트된다.

INPADOC는 1972년 5월 2일 세계지식재산권기구(WIPO)와 오스트리아 정부가 협약에 따라 설립하였다.[2]그로부터 20년이 조금 못 되어 1991년에 유럽특허청으로 통합되었다.[3]그 후 오스트리아의 비엔나에서 EPO 하위 사무소가 만들어졌다.[4]

공개적으로 접근할 수 있는 INPADOC 데이터베이스는 특허 제품군에 대한 정보, 즉 해당 특허 출원, 즉 동일한 우선 순위를 주장하고 일반적으로 동일한 발명을 공개하는 다른 국가의 특허 출원에 대한 정보를 제공한다.또한 상태변화를 보고하는 국가의 특허 출원 및 특허의 법적 상태에 관한 정보도 제공한다.
