역사

Dell은 2013년 6월 인빈사와 OEM 파트너십을 체결하고 전 세계 모든 상용 태블릿 및 PC에 "Dell Data Protection Protected Workspace"라는 새로운 엔드포인트 보안 소프트웨어를 출하하기 시작했다.Dell Data Protection은 각 브라우저 또는 애플리케이션 인스턴스 주위에 차폐 또는 가상화된 컨테이너를 배치하여 나머지 장치 및 해당 장치가 상주하는 네트워크로부터 보호하는 Invincea 컨테이너 기술을 포함했다.[7][8]

인빈사는 2013년 12월 샌드박시를 미공개 금액에 인수했다.샌드박스는 '컨테이너' 기술로도 불리는 윈도 격납·샌드박스 시장의 선구자였고, 이번 인수는 샌드박시와 인빈사가 자체 개발한 컨테이너 솔루션을 통합하기 위해 이뤄졌다.[9]

2016년 5월 인빈사는 인빈사가 X를 출시했다.[10]X by Invinsa는 서명 없이 알려진 악성 프로그램과 알려지지 않은 악성 프로그램을 실시간으로 탐지하고 차단하여 엔드포인트를 보호한 제품군이었다.X는 기계학습의 진보된 형태인 딥러닝, 행동분석, 그리고 격리기술로도 알려진 레거시 인빈사 컨테이너 기술을 하나의 경량제 안에 결합했다.[8]

인빈사는 2017년 2월 보안 소프트웨어·하드웨어 업체인 [1][2][3]소포스에 인수됐다.[4]그해 8월 자회사인 인빈사랩스가 투식스랩스로 개칭했다.[11]

2018년 1월 소포스는 인빈사의 딥러닝 기술이 소포스 인터셉트 X 엔드포인트 보안 제품과 통합될 것이라고 발표했다.[12]2018년 4월 16일 인빈사는 인빈사 제품군의 X 판매 종료를 발표했다.소포스 제품은 인빈사 컨테이너 기술과 통합되지 않았다.기존 계약에 따라 2019년 12월 31일까지 지원 및 유지보수가 가능하며, 이때 인빈사 제품에 대한 지원 및 유지보수가 중단되었다.[13][14]소포스는 인터셉트 X에 인빈사 컨테이너 기술을 포함하지 않았다.이 때문에 샌드박시는 자유공구로 출시됐고, 소포스는 오픈소스가 될 컨테이너 기술을 공개했다.[15]
