장파스칼 베인투스(Jean-Pascal Beintus, 1966년 출생)는 프랑스의 작곡가다.

Beintus는 툴루즈에서 태어났다.그는 1980년대에 니스, 라이온, 파리의 음악원에서 더블 베이스와 작곡을 공부했다.1983년 존 엘리엇 가디너 경이 리옹 오페라 관현악단을 창단할 때 베이투스를 창단 더블베이스 연주자로 선정했다.그의 첫 작품인 삼스카라는 더블 베이스와 실내 오케스트라를 위한 것이었다.

1996년 당시 오페라 드 리옹의 음악 감독이었던 켄트 나가노가 작곡가로서의 장 파스칼 베인투스의 재능을 인정하여 그에게서 작품을 의뢰하기 시작했는데, 바로 오케스트라를 위한 협주곡, 클라리넷과 오케스트라를 위한 협주곡이다.그 이후로 그는 거의 모든 종류의 앙상블, 콘서트 홀, 영화에 대한 음악을 작곡했다.그는 생텍쥐페리의 Le Petit Prince를 위해 무대 음악을 작곡했다.

Beintus's film work includes the original score of the Leonardo DiCaprio film The 11th Hour, as well as orchestrating Alexandre Desplat's scores for Syriana and Golden Globe-winning score of The Painted Veil, and also The Queen, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Imitation Game, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Godzilla, The Shape of Water.

빌 클린턴, 미하일 고르바초프, 소피아 로렌이 내레이터로 등장하는 장 파스칼 베인투스의 '늑대 트랙' 녹음이 2003년 그래미상을 받았다.^[1]안토니오 반데라스는 2007년에 발매된 스페인어 버전에 대해 내레이션을 했다.

그의 최근 프로젝트는 프랑스 TV 스타 미셸 시메스의 《저승의 히포크라테스》(Renaud Capuson)가 공연한 다큐멘터리와 2018년 6월 아우베르그네 오케스트라가 초연한 피아노, 트럼펫, 오케스트라를 위한 판타이 협주곡이다.
