쿠웨이트 만
Kuwait BayJon al Kuwayt(아랍어: جونن لن,,, gulf, 걸프 아랍어 발음: /doːo‿nɪnnlklkwet/)는 쿠웨이트에 있는 만이다. 그것은 페르시아만의 일부분이다. 쿠웨이트 시는 만 끝에 있다.
역사

기원전 2000년까지 기원전 4000년에 쿠웨이트 만은 딜문 문명의 본거지였다.[10][11][12][13] 딜문이 쿠웨이트 만을 통제한 데는 본토 아크카즈,[10] 움 안남일섬,[10][14] 파나카 섬 등이 포함됐다.[10][13] 기원전 2000년 전성기에 딜문 제국은 메소포타미아에서 인도와 인더스 계곡 문명에 이르는 무역로를 통제했다. 딜문의 상업력은 기원전 1800년 이후 쇠퇴하기 시작했다. 딜문이 쇠퇴하는 동안 해적질은 이 지역 전역에 번성했다. 기원전 600년 이후, 바빌로니아인들은 딜문을 그들의 제국에 추가했다.

From about 4000 to 2000 B.C. the civilization of Dilmun dominated 250 miles of the eastern coast of Arabia from present-day Kuwait to Bahrain and extended sixty miles into the interior to the oasis of Hufuf (see fig. 2).
