2012년 5월 15일 Kylo는 Mozilla Public[13] License의 조건에 따라 오픈 소스 소프트웨어로 출시되었습니다.
2012년 봄에 출시된 최초의 Asus Xtion 3D 깊이 감지 카메라가 지원했으며 카메라와 함께 제공되는 소프트웨어 번들에 포함되어 있습니다.
이 브라우저는 힐크레스트가 2019년 7월 CEVA에 인수된 후 폐기되었다.
