람다 루피(Lambda Lupi)는 남쪽 루푸스자리에 있는 삼중성계이다[11].겉보기 등급 4.04로 [2]육안으로 볼 수 있다.지구에서 볼 때 불과 4.20밀리초의[1] 연간 시차 편이를 기준으로 볼 때, 이 행성은 태양으로부터 약 800광년 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다.이 계는 이웃 행성들에 비해 27.4±4.9km/s의 독특한 속도를 가지고 있어 도망성계 [9]후보이다.전갈자리-센타우루스자리 OB [12]성협에 속하는 센타우루스자리-루퍼스자리 상위 하위 그룹의 구성원이다.

이 계의 눈에 보이는 두 구성 요소는 70.8년에 걸쳐 0.63의 [8]큰 이심률로 서로를 공전합니다.1차 구성요소는 4.43의 시각적 크기를 가지며, 2차 구성요소는 5.23의 [3]밝기를 가진다.둘 다 B3 [5]V 등급의 B형 주계열성이다.쌍성 중 하나는 이중선 분광 쌍성으로, 삼중성계입니다.[11]
