Leeuwenhoek은 달의 남반구에 있는 달 충돌 분화구이다.그것은 버켈랜드 분화구와 특이한 이중 분화구 반 데 그라프의 동쪽에 위치해 있다.리우웬훅의 북동쪽은 올로프, 남쪽은 커다란 성벽으로 둘러싸인 라이프니츠 평원이다.

리웬훅의 바깥 테두리가 마모되고 침식되어 비교적 평평한 내부 바닥 주위에 불규칙한 산줄기가 형성되어 있다.내벽은 서쪽과 남쪽을 따라 폭이 넓어져 바닥을 북동쪽으로 치우게 한다.내부 중간 지점에는 중앙 피크 대형이 있습니다.바닥에는 한 쌍의 작은 분화구와 여러 개의 작은 분화구가 있다.Leeuwenhoek은 북동쪽으로 위성 분화구 Leeuwenhoek E와 부분적으로 겹칩니다.
