The Octagonal Pavilion Library (simplified Chinese: 八角亭图书馆; traditional Chinese: 八角亭圖書館), or Bajiaoting Library,[2] formally named as the Reading and Newspaper Room attached to the Macau Chinese Chamber of Commerce,[3] simply known as Octagonal Pavilion,[4] is a library located on the periphery of the S. Francisco Garden of Macau.[5]도서관 이름은 팔각형의 [6]정자 모양을 따서 붙여졌다.
개요
팔각정 도서관은 2만여 권의 장서와 90여 종의 신문과 [7]정기간행물을 소장하고 있다.그리고 총 표면적은 1,130 평방 [8]피트입니다.
역사
팔각정 도서관은 1926년에 설계되어 [9]1927년에 완공되었다.마카오에 [10]문을 연 최초의 중국어 도서관이자 최초의 공공 도서관이다.
1948년 11월 1일, 팔각정 도서관은 당시 마카오 주지사였던 알바노 로드리게스 드 올리베이라에 의해 개관되었으며,[11] 오늘날까지도 일반인들에게 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
