Ω2 시그니에서 라틴어로2 표기된 오메가 시그니(Omega Cogni)는 북방 시그너스 별자리에 있는 독거성[7] 별의 바이엘 명칭이다.어두운 밤에 육안으로 희미하게 보이는 5.5의 겉보기 시야를 가지고 있다.[2]연간 시차 변화량 8.17 mas를 바탕으로 태양으로부터 약 399광년 떨어진 곳에 위치한다.[1]그 거리에서는 성간 먼지로 인해 0.08의 소멸계수만큼 시각적 크기가 감소한다.[2]

이것은 M2 III라는 별의 분류를 가진 점근거성 가지 위의 적색거성별이다.[3]증거가 "의혹하거나 잘못한 것"으로 여겨지지만, 그것은 의심스러운 변수별이다.만약 그것이 존재한다면, 변동성은 작으며 진폭 0.05의 진폭과 약 30일의 시간 척도가 된다.[8]이 별이 헤라클레스 강의 일원일 확률은 58.3%이다.[2]
