범아시아기술자동차센터(PATAC)는 제너럴모터스(General Motors)와 SAIC모터(SAIC Motor)의 합작법인이다. 중국 상하이 푸둥(浦東)에 있는 디자인·엔지니어링 센터로 상하이GM 제품의 엔지니어링에 관여하고 있지만, 제너럴모터스(GM)의 전 세계 기술개발·디자인 센터 6곳 중 1곳으로도 기능하고 있다.[1]

개요

PATAC는 중국 시장을 위해 여러 개의 글로벌 GM 차량을 준비했다. PATAC의 자체 개발에서 쉐보레 세일(Chevrolet Sail)과 2세대 뷰익 GL8(Buick GL8)이 나온다. 페이스리프트한 쉐보레 아베오(T200) 세단도 PATAC와 협업해 디자인했다. 이 센터는 또한 2013년까지 총 7대의 컨셉트카를 2년마다 제작하고 있다. 그 중 2007년과 2013년에 새로운 Buick Riviera의 두 가지 개념.

PATAC는 2012년 3월 27일 개장한 기후 풍동 터널 중 설계 및 자동차 개발 및 평가를 위한 다양한 설비를 폐기하고 있다.[2]

PATAC는 또 안후이(安熙) 광데 현에 있는 5.67평방 킬로미터의 시험장 상하이 GM과 함께 관리한다.2012년 9월 22일 개통된 시험도로 31°02′39″N 119°25′33″E / 31.044266°N 119.425751°E / 31.044266;[3][4] 119.425751).

합작법인 PATAC는 GM 중국 본사 옆 상하이에 위치한 중국 독자 GM차이나첨단기술센터(ATC)와 혼동하지 말라는 것이다.[4][5][6][7]
