Remote Audio Output Protocol

RAOP(Remote Audio Output Protocol)는 Apple Inc.[1][2]가 작성한 RTSP/RTP에 기반한 인터넷 스트리밍 프로토콜입니다.AirPort Express 무선(802.11b/g/n) 액세스 포인트 및 Apple [2]TV에 내장된 AirPlay 기술을 지원합니다.

RTSP와의 주요 차이점은 iTunes가 (시뮬레이션이 아닌) AirPort Express 또는 Apple TV와 통신하고 있는지 확인하기 위해 실시한 초기 비대칭 키 검증입니다.또, 그 반대도 마찬가지입니다.데이터 채널도 AES에 의해 암호화되며,[citation needed] 랜덤키는 위에서 설명한 비대칭 키에 의해 보호됩니다.

iTunes에 저장된 RSA 공용 키는 Jon Lech Johansen이 추출한 것으로, 타사 소프트웨어가 Airport [3]Express로 음악을 스트리밍할 수 있게 되었습니다.

AirPort Express에 저장된 RSA 개인 키는 James Laird에 의해 추출되어 Airport [4]Express 시뮬레이션이 가능합니다.

Airport Express 하드웨어를 에뮬레이트하는 Shairport 동기 애플리케이션을 사용할 수 있습니다.[5]
