롭 배리
Rob Varley
롭 발리는 2014년 메트 오피스의 최고 경영자로 임명되었다.[1] 그는 2018년 3월 5일 사임했다.[2]
첼트넘 본사이드 학교에서 교육을 받았으며 1983년 이스트 앵글리아 대학을 환경과학 BSC로 졸업했다.[3] 발리는 1854년 창립 이래 메트오피스 내에서 승진된 최초의 CEO였다.[4] 그는 독서대학에서 경영학 석사학위(2001년)를 취득하고, 경영학연구소(2010년)에서 기업방향 석사학위를 취득하고 있다. 그는 2016년 이스트 앵글리아 대학에서 명예 과학 박사학위를 받았다.[5] 그는 왕립기상학회의[6] 전세기 기상학자 겸 이사회의 전세기 이사다.[7] 2012년 그는 올해의 이사(공공부문과 제3부문)로 선정되었다.[8]
롭은 2013~2014년 왕립기상학회 부회장,[9] 2015~2018년 유메넷 회장, 2017~2018년 세계기상기구 제1부회장 등을 지냈다.[11]
