Rycroft는 캐나다 앨버타 북부에 있는 마을이다.그란데 프레리에서 북쪽으로 약 68km(42mi), 스피릿 강에서 동쪽으로 약 7km(4.3mi) 떨어져 있다.둔베간 도립공원은 지역사회에서 북쪽으로 20km 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다.

우체국은 원래 스피릿 리버로 알려져 있었다.1920년 로이크로프트(Roycroft)로 명칭을 바꿔 현지의 저명한 시민권자인 R.H.로이크로프트(Rycroft)를 기리고, 1933년 라이크로프트(Rycroft)[4]로 명칭을 변경하였다.

인구통계학

캐나다 통계청이 실시한 2021년 인구조사에서 라이크로프트 마을은 전체 민간 주거지 299개 중 243개소에 550명의 인구를 기록해 2016년 인구 612명에서 -10.1%가 바뀌었다.국토면적이 1.85km2(0.71sqmi)로 2021년에는 인구밀도가 297.3/km2(770.0/sqmi)로 나타났다.[3]

캐나다 통계청이 실시한 2016년 인구총조사에서 라이크로프트 마을은 전체 민박 316채 중 274채에 612명의 인구를 기록, 2011년 인구 628채에 비해 -2.5%의 변화가 있었다.국토면적이 1.92km2(0.74sqmi)로 2016년 인구밀도가 318.8km2(825.6/sqmi)에 달했다.[13]
