시머스 코피는 아일랜드 경제학자 겸 언론 기고자로 아일랜드 경제와 아일랜드 거시경제 및 재정 정책의 성과에 초점을 맞추고 있다.[4] 그는 University College Cork의 강사다. 그는 2016년부터 2020년까지 아일랜드 재정자문회의(IFAC) 의장을 지냈다.[3]
