Shape Modeling International

Shape Modeling International(SMI)은 매년 열리는 심포지엄으로, 디지털 형상 [1]표현을 모델링, 시뮬레이션 및 처리하기 위한 새로운 수학 이론과 새로운 계산 기술의 보급을 촉진하는 것이 목표입니다.1997년 Tosyiasu L. Kuni와 Bianca Falcidieno에 의해 시작된 이 심포지엄은 2001년 Eurographics/ACM SIGGRAPH Workshop on Implicit Surfaces와의 합병으로 연례 행사가 되었다.심포지엄의 개최지는 아시아, 유럽, 미국 순으로 순환한다.
