소항 채터지는 인도 태생의 과학자/기업가로, 두 개의 생명공학 회사를 공동 설립하고 최근 미국에서 이 회사의 사업을 확장했다.[1][2]

교육

채터지는 B를 들고 있다.성에서 온 미생물학, 화학, 식물학 학위 인도 방갈로르에 있는 요셉스 칼리지(1992년). 그는 Tata 기초 연구 기관인 Bangalore에서 분자 생물학 석사 과정을 마쳤다. (1995년)했다. 이어 미국 코넬대, 뉴욕대, SUNY 버팔로(1995-2000)에서 연구에 착수했다.[3]

경력

채터지는 다양한 과학 분야에 경험이 있다.[4][5] 2000년에는 2006년 6월까지 방갈로르의 밀리포레 인도(P)에서 그룹 리더를 지냈다.[6] 2006년 7월부터 2007년 5월까지 방갈로르 소재 아베사 겐그레인 테크놀로지스(P)의 디비전장을 지냈다.[3]

채터지는 2007년 6월 인도 방갈로르에 인비옵로 솔루션스프라이빗 리미티드(Inbiopro Solutions Private Limited, Private Limited)를 공동 설립하고 이후 인비오프로가 매각되는 2012년 11월까지 CEO 겸 이사가 되었다.[7][8][9][10] 채터지는 2013년 7월 방갈로르 테라미트바이오로직스 프라이빗 리미티드(Thramyt Biologics Private Limited)[11][12][13]를 공동 설립하고 이사 겸 CEO가 됐다.

2015년 6월 Chatterjee는 Zumutor Biologies Inc.를 공동 설립했다. (Thramyt의 동료)[14] 그는 여러 과학 논문을 발표했으며, 또한 단핵 항체 발견과 수정 분야에서 다수의 특허가 출원되어 그 효능을 향상시키고 있다.[3]

채터지는 인도 ABLE(Association of Biology Lead Enterprises) 소속으로 2013년부터 인도에서 ABLE이 지원하는 다양한 창업 프로그램의 심사위원이자 멘토로 활동하고 있다.[3] 보스턴 TiE의 차터 멤버로서 생명공학 기업가정신과 청년 창업자들의 조직 발전에 기여하는 데 적극적으로 참여하고 있다.[3]
