스피로인돌론

스피로인돌론은 인돌론 링이 스피로 배열에서 다른 링으로 대체되는 화합물의 일종이다.
이 등급의 알칼로이드에는 호르필린, 라임초필린, 겔세민, 카라파나우빈, 마레마이신E 등이 포함된다.
스피로인돌론은 또한 대상 기생충에서 단백질 합성을 억제하는 작용을 하는 신종 말라리아 약품이다[1]. 이 등급에서 약물 개발 면에서 가장 발달한 화합물은 시파르가민(NITD609)이다.[2]
