2017년 10월 1일 밤 10시[63] 5분부터 패독은 만달레이 베이 호텔 앤 카지노에서 자신의 호텔 방 32-135호실에서 라스베가스 스트립에서 열린 91번 루트 하베스트 음악 축제에서 많은 수의 콘서트 관람객들에게 1,000발 이상의 총탄을 발사하여 결국 60명이 사망하고 867명이 부상을 입었습니다. 그리고는 총을 쏴 스스로 목숨을 끊었습니다.[1][2][3][4]
