University Consortium for Geographic Information Science |
UCGIS(University Consortium for Geographic Information Science, UCGIS)는 지리 정보 과학을 전담하는 학술 비영리 단체로, 1995년 워싱턴 D.C.에서 설립되었다.[1]
지도학, 인지과학, 컴퓨터공학, 공학 및 토지조사, 환경과학, 측지과학, 지리학, 지리학, 경관건축, 법률 및 공공정책, 원격감지와 사진측량, 통계학 등 학문 분야 간의 다원적 협력을 촉진한다.[2]
