Vatakkiruttal (Tamil: வடக்கிருத்தல், Vaṭakkiruttal, "fasting facing north" ?), also Vadakiruthal and vadakiruttal, was a Tamil ritual of fasting till death.그것은 상암시대에 특히 널리 퍼졌다.타밀 왕들은 자신들의 명예와 위신을 지키기 위해 북쪽에서 죽음을 맞이할 준비가 되어 있었고, 전투에서 결코 등을 돌리지 않았다.그것은 타밀 군벌이었다.
