x2 센타우리는 센타우루스자리에 위치한 별이다.HD 108114와 HR 4724의 지정으로도 알려져 있다.이 별의 겉보기 크기는 약 5.7로, 뛰어난 시야 조건에서 육안으로만 볼 수 있다는 것을 의미한다.그것의 거리는 약 440광년(140파섹)으로, 히파르코스 아스트로메트리 위성이 측정한 시차를 기준으로 한다.[1]
