보코드, 공식적으로는 보코드 시(일로카노:일리 티 보코드; 타갈로그:Bayan ng Bokod)는 필리핀 벵게 주의 4급 자치체이다.2020년 인구 조사에 따르면, 이 도시의 인구는 14,435명이다.[3]

역사

식민지 이전 및 스페인 시대

민담에 따르면, 한때 숲이 우거진 마을이었던 보코드는 농업 발전을 [5]이 지역에 소개한 에보콧(Ebokot)이라는 사람으로부터 이름을 얻었다고 한다.에보콧의 이름은 이 마을과 관련이 있으며 스페인 [6]정권 때 푸에블로로 등록되었다.

미국 시대

보코드는 1900년 [5][6][7][8]11월 22일 법률 48호가 제정되면서 미국 통치 기간 동안 벤게의 19개 읍 중 하나로 설립되었다.

1908년 8월 13일 법률 제1876호의 제정으로 신설된 산악주의 하위주로 벵게가 설치되었다.그 결과, 벵게의 6개 마을이 폐지되었고, 그 중 보코드에 [5][6][8]통합된 암부클라오와 다클란이 있었다.

전후 시대

보코드의 주요 인프라 중 하나는 암부클라오 댐이다.1950년에 건설되어 1956년에 문을 연 이곳은 루손에서 가장 중요한 수력 발전 시설 중 하나이다.

1963년 6월 25일 디오스다도 마카파갈 대통령은 행정명령 제42호를 발표해 벵게트 지방의 13개 마을 중 8개(시구 지정)를 일반 자치시로 전환했다.보코드도 그들 [9]중 하나였다.

1966년 6월 18일, 벵게 현은 구 마운틴 주에서 분리되어 일반 주로 전환되었다.보코드는 신설된 [10]지방의 구성 자치체로 남아있었다.

지리

보코드는 북위 120°4의 16°29º29°4에 위치한다.9µ48ºE/16.4914°N 120.83°E/16.4914; 120.83.북동쪽은 카바얀, 북서쪽은 아톡, 중서쪽은 투블레이, 남서쪽은 이토곤, 동쪽은 카야파와 경계를 이루고 있다.

필리핀 통계청에 따르면, 이 자치시는 274.96 평방 킬로미터(106.16 평방 마일)의 토지 면적을 가지고 있으며, 이는 벵게의 총 면적 2,769.08 평방 킬로미터(1069.15 평방 마일)의 9.93%에 해당한다.

보코드는 바기오에서 53km(33마일), 라 트리니다드에서 58km(36마일), 마닐라에서 303km(188마일) 떨어져 있다.

보코드는 정치적으로 10개의 [12]바랑게이로 나뉜다.이들 바랑게이는 Barangay Council, Barangay Council, Barangay Council, Barangay Councilers로 불리는 선출된 관리들에 의해 운영된다.모두 3년마다 선출된다.
