Brumby Point

브럼비 포인트(Brumby Point)는 오스트레일리아 빅토리아에 있는 알파인 국립공원의 외딴 누니옹 고원의 봉우리다.[1][2]비슷한 이름의 브럼비 힐에서 북서쪽으로 구별되는 이곳은 북쪽으로는 레이디 크릭 차즘, 남쪽으로는 리틀 레이디 크릭으로 경계를 이루고 있다.그 지역은 오르도비안 암석의 눈에 보이는 주름들로 주목되어 왔다.[3]Eucalyptus elaeophloia와 Leptospermum jingera를 포함한 많은 희귀한 식물 종들이 이 지역에서 발생한다.[4]최근 이 지역에서 발견된 '브럼비 말리금'은 2013년 정식으로 설명돼 '유칼립투스 봉황'이라는 이름이 붙었다.[5]이 지점까지 이어지는 능선을 가로지르는 7km 길이의 브룸비 포인트 4륜 구동 트랙은 1992년에 영구 폐쇄되도록 지정되었다.[6]
