케이 산(Kaye mountain)은 오스트레일리아 빅토리아 주 이스트 지프스랜드의 칸 강(Cann River) 타운 북쪽에 있는 쿠프라캄브라 국립공원에 있는 산이다.[2][3]

지질학

케이산맥은 흑백의 누린비 그라노디오라이트로 경사지와 봉우리에 노출되어 있다.그 범위를 빠져나가는 작은 하천들은 300미터(980피트)의 강으로 일련의 폭포와 폭포처럼 내려간다.[4]

플로라

The area between Mount Kaye and Mount Denmarsh, together with the nearby Back Creek catchment, has high biological significance, containing a large number of rare plants including Long-leaf Bitter pea (Daviesia wyattiana), Tasmanian Waxflower (Philotheca virgata), Genoa Grevillea (Grevillea parvula), Finger Hakea (Hakea dactyloides), Rusty Velvet-부시(Lasiopetalum ferrugineum), 뉴사우스웨일스 포마데리스(Pomaderris ledifolia), 몽키 민트부시(Prostanthera walteri) 등이 있다.[5][6]동부의 뉴사우스웨일스 종뿐만 아니라 태즈메이니아에서 온 많은 하위 알핀 종에 대한 가장 먼 분포 범위는 카예 산 지역에 도달한다.[5]케이 산 주변의 8,100 헥타르(2만 에이커)의 면적은 국립공원법(VIC)에 따라 원거리 및 자연지대로 지정된다.[2][7]

접근

산에서 가장 가까운 봉인도로는 서쪽으로 4km(2.5m) 떨어진 칸 강 계곡을 따라 달리는 모나로 고속도로다.[1]케이 산 근처에는 4륜 구동 트랙이 있지만, 이 트랙들은 어려운 스트림 교차로로 지나치게 성장하여 비상 접근에만 적합하다.[2]정상까지 걸어가는 것은 항해 기술을 필요로 하고 육체적으로 힘든 일이다.[8]
