하전 다체단백질 5는 CHMP5 [4] [5] [6] 유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 부호화되는 단백질 이다.
기능. CHMP5는 염색질변형단백질/차지다중체단백질(CHMP) 패밀리에 속한다. 이들 단백질은 표면 수용체 단백질의 분해와 내구성 다층체(MVBs ) 형성에 관여하는 복합체인 ESCRT-III (수송 III에 필요한 내염색체 분류 복합체)의 구성요소이다. 일부 CHMP는 핵 및 세포질/혈관 분포를 모두 가지며, 이러한 CHMP 중 하나인 CHMP1A 는 세포 주기 진행의 MVB [6] [7] 형성 과 조절에 모두 필요하다.
