박물관 정보의 컴퓨터 교환
Computer Interchange of Museum InformationCMI(Computer Interchange of Museum Information)는 네트워크 정보 연합(CNI)의 후원으로 박물관 IT 표준을 위한 이니셔티브였다.
CIMI 프로젝트는 1990년 미국 소재 뮤지엄컴퓨터네트워크(MCN)가 시작, MCN 위원회로 운영하면서 박물관이 데이터를 교환하고 표준 데이터베이스를 제공할 수 있도록 표준 프레임워크를 개발하는 데 목적을 뒀다.[1] 이것은 MCN의 Spectrum에 게재되었다.[2]
CIMI의 프로젝트 매니저에는 Cary Karp와 John Perkins가 포함되었다.
